We helped increase ICE's revenue by 15%

Kalago created a new ecommerce platform for professional membership body the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). Its new site offered the building industry essential documents and templates required for their project, all in one place. This new platform also synced with ICE's CRM Salesforce, creating a fully integrated solution.

The challenge

A core part of the ICE work is to offer a standardised contract template to the construction industry. It's important for these buyers to find all they need in one place so ICE created NEC – a best practice contracting, procurement and project management website.

The new NEC ecommerce site needed to include digital contracts, events, training books and membership details – all from one membership-based central ecommerce platform.

The challenge was to build a unique and completely new integrated digital solution that was easy to manage for staff and easy to use for members.

What did we do

Kalago built and deployed a complete solution for ICE based on the leading CMS Kentico. On time and on budget, the website included bespoke integration with CRM platform Salesforce and making all ICE's products available via ecommerce.

This resulted in a 10% reduction in website bounce rate and an increase in e-commerce revenue of 15% YOY.

High-performance build and lightning speed, on any device

When building our sites, the focus is always on the user experience. They should be able to browse on any device without issue. We are always evolving our build efficiency so our clients can expect fast load times and ultra-responsive sites.

NEC Contracts needed lots of different integrations; with this there often comes a dip in performance, but we were able to engineer a really optimised solution under the hood.
