Transforming how Crimestoppers connects with its partners
Crimestoppers needed a modern, secure way to manage how it works with the many partners and agencies it supports. With increasing demand for digital-first services, the charity recognised the opportunity to unify all partner interactions into one streamlined platform.
Working in close partnership with Kalago, they launched Crimestoppers Connect, a new digital hub designed to bring reporting, data access, and partner engagement into a single, easy-to-use system. Connect not only strengthens security and efficiency but also lays the foundation for future innovation and growth.

The challenge
Crimestoppers plays a vital role in supporting law enforcement and community safety across the UK. With hundreds of partners depending on timely access to reports, data, and resources, the charity’s systems had become increasingly fragmented. Reports were often shared across numerous channels such as email, and managing multiple partner requests proved time and resource intensive for Crimestoppers’ internal teams.
There was a clear need for a single, secure platform where partners could access the tools and information they required, while also reducing administrative overhead for the charity itself.

What we did
Building on our long-standing partnership with Crimestoppers, we collaborated closely with their business development and contact centre teams to design and deliver Crimestoppers Connect – a secure, self-service platform for partner engagement.
The new platform centralises critical partner-facing services into one accessible digital hub. Registered users can now log in securely to:
- View and download reports directly, removing the reliance on email.
- Configure how their organisation receives reports, including API integration options.
- Manage user access and roles with multi-factor authentication.
At the same time, Crimestoppers administrators benefit from a consolidated view of partner activity, streamlined management tools, and the ability to expand the platform with new features such as analytics, form building, and appeals management in future phases.



The Results
Since launch, almost 100 partner organisations have been onboarded, underlining the demand for a more modern and efficient way to collaborate.
By moving to a single, secure platform, Connect is:
- Empowering partners with easier, faster access to reports and data.
- Reducing administrative effort within Crimestoppers by consolidating partner interactions and enabling self-service, saving the team from manually generating 100+ monthly reports.
- Providing a scalable foundation to introduce new modules and potential revenue streams.
- Strengthening data security and auditability through robust authentication and access controls.
Crimestoppers Connect represents a major step forward in how the charity works with its partners – delivering efficiencies internally while improving the digital experience for partners and agencies nationwide.

Connect has transformed how we work with our partners. For the first time, we can offer a single secure platform where users have everything they need at their fingertips. It’s already making a difference with nearly 100 registered users, and we know this is only the beginning. The platform gives us confidence that we can continue to grow and meet the needs of both our partners and our charity in a secure, efficient way.
